Your plot is really brought forth by your step outline. However, I am not quite sure why your character is a misfit other than the fact that he is hated by the city in which he resides. Besides that tiny flaw I like the use of your flashbacks to reveal the backstory that is within the film as well as to control the pacing and timing of the film. If you take the necessary steps and produce the film with the proper equipment while keeping the ten themes of storytelling in mind I believe that you would produce an excellent piece.
ReplyDeleteThis seems like it is shaping up to be quite the nuance movie with subtle influences. Keep all of your ideas in mind and do not shape them to fit others ideas, discuss your point and keep your ideas intact! You should incorporate a new concept to the noir aspect of the film, perhaps through the use of a contrary use of film noir ex: joyful expressionism. Your step outline i hope is barely scratching the surface because i as the audience would like to understand the ideals of this different person.
